Holmes and McGrath, Inc., evolved from a predecessor firm originally established in 1956 to accommodate the growing diversity of development and design needs in the field of civil engineering. Over the years we have expanded our capabilities to provide a variety of professional services.

The principal officers are Michael B. McGrath, President and Treasurer, and Mary Ellen Streeter, Vice President of Land Surveying.

Holmes and McGrath, Inc. currently has 23 employees, with 7 employees being civil engineers, 6 employees being land surveyors, 1 environmental scientist and 1 wastewater technician. The remainder are drafters and administrative personnel. Of these employees, 2 are Registered Professional Land Surveyors and 3 are Registered Professional Engineers.

At this office, Holmes and McGrath, Inc. has a network of the latest generation of computers including computer directed automated drafting. This automated drafting gives the firm unparalleled flexibility in design and preparation of plans and excellent response time to meet the requests of clients. The firm is well equipped with some of the best surveying equipment made to perform tasks of almost any scope.

While Holmes and McGrath, Inc. has successfully completed several large surveying projects, this firm has continued to perform small surveying projects. The firm has performed surveys for site plans, subdivisions, minor piers, major highways, and a variety of marine related projects.
